The primary goal of this position is to recruit a Software Developer who is proficient also in C#. This individual will play a crucial role in both training users and collaborating closely with our development team. Additionally, the role encompasses bug resolution, user support, and acting as the on-site system support liaison for the remote development team.
You will be required to show proof of previous work completed.
Desired Experience & Qualification
Educational Background:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Alternatively, a combination of education and relevant experience may be considered.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Proficiency in C# is also mandatory.
- Familiarity with the software development lifecycle and basic principles of software engineering.
- Knowledge of Unity will be greatly advantageous
Interpersonal Skills:
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical details to nontechnical users.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically.
- Strong self-discipline is required as this person will mostly work unsupervised
Duties & Responsibilities
Development and Maintenance:
- Assist in the development and maintenance of software applications using Python and C#.
- Participate in the coding, testing, debugging, and implementation phases of the development cycle.
- Conduct training sessions for users on the functionalities of the software systems and integration.
- Participating in team meetings and contributing to team goals.
- Understand and analyse bugs/issues reported by users.
- Directly resolve bugs when possible or accurately relay detailed bug reports to the development team for further action.
- Serve as the primary system support person on site, acting as a bridge between the users and the remote development team.
- Monitor system performance, respond to user inquiries, and provide timely solutions to issues encountered.
- Document all relevant information pertaining to bug reports, system updates, and user feedback to ensure clear communication within the team.
